San Antonio (LPD-17) class Flight II
Four Flight II ships were procured in FY2018-FY2025 and the FY2026 budget requested a fifth at about $2.1 billion (CRS, January 2026). On September 24, 2024 the Navy awarded a block buy for LPDs 33, 34 and 35 alongside LHA-10; reaching 21 LPD-type ships implies eight Flight II or follow-on ships.
