Arleigh Burke (DDG-51) class

As of December 2025 CRS reported 97 DDG-51s procured through FY2025 and 75 delivered as of October 1, 2025, at about $2.7 billion each; the FY2026 budget requested two more. An August 2023 FY2023-FY2027 multiyear award covered nine Flight III ships (six Ingalls, three Bath Iron Works) plus options; industrial base capacity limits the build rate.
