Eastern Shipbuilding Nelson Street Yard
Rebuilt after Hurricane Michael and dedicated to the Coast Guard Offshore Patrol Cutter program as of 2021. Eastern halted OPC work in November 2025 and the Coast Guard and Eastern agreed to terminate the OPC contract in June 2026; in January 2026 Eastern won a contract for three hybrid-electric ferries.

Capital projects
Nelson Street infrastructure improvements, Phase II
Eastern Shipbuilding Group began Phase II of Nelson Street shipyard improvements in May 2024, adding about 1,000 ft of bulkhead and berthing, heavy weather moorings, a 120-ft launchway extension and final dredging, with completion expected in summer 2025. Cost was not disclosed.
