Arctic Security Cutter (ASC)
On December 26, 2025 the Coast Guard awarded Rauma (Finland) up to two ASCs (first due 2028) and Bollinger Houma up to four (first due 2029), funded by $3.5 billion from OBBBA. A separate $3.5 billion five-ship deal with Davie (Helsinki and Texas) was reported in February 2026; Bollinger began welding the first ASC in April 2026.
